Born in South Africa and raised in a jewelry-making family, Philippa Roberts was naturally drawn to working with metal and stones. After earning a BFA in Metal Design and Photography from Miami University in Ohio, she moved to California, worked for other jewelers, and later established her own studio — growing her work into a successful design practice and retail presence.

Her jewelry is recognized by simple, organic shapes paired with beautifully cut gemstones — the kind of pieces customers reach for again and again because they feel right for everyday life and special occasions alike. Over the years, her collections have included designs in sterling silver as well as vermeil for those who prefer gold tones, all created with the same clean, wearable sensibility. 

One of the reasons her work resonates is that it never shouts — it simply belongs on the wearer. As Philippa Roberts says, “It is my goal to make jewelry that is beautiful, simple, wearable, and most importantly, timeless.”
